Lohri (Punjabi: ਲੋਹੜੀ) a celebration celebrated on the thirteenth day of January is a celebration of enthusiasm and verve denoting the coming zenith of the crisp winter. A period when the sun makes a beeline for the North and remains longer every day warming the ground for the new yields destined to be sown.
